The early summer feel is here and it’s going to be sticking around for a while. Lows tonight are going to be very warm and that will lead to another hot day on Sunday. In fact, highs in the 90s are in the forecast through the middle of June! Those overnight lows will continue to drop into the middle and upper 60s. Not helping, the dew point is also going to be creeping up, so it will also feel rather muggy. This is a very July and August kind of forecast.
With high pressure in control, precipitation chances are slim for the next several days. We’ll likely be dry through Monday of next week. Then there will be a shift in the weather pattern. It should be enough to give us a chance for showers and thunderstorms starting Tuesday and that chance will last for at least a few days.
