ST. Peters, Missouri (KMOV.com)-The city of St. Peters has issued voluntary boiling recommendations and water-saving orders due to a power outage.
The city’s utility sector said the voluntary boiling recommendations and water-saving orders were due to the damage caused by the storm to the water infrastructure. The city said people should limit the use of water as the department is working to bring power back to the water treatment system.
The storm traveled through the St. Louis region on Saturday, causing rain, hail, and power outages.
