7,000 seats for students and staff to watch Brooks perform
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – University of Nebraska-Lincoln students have the opportunity to see Garth Brook’s soundcheck for free at Memorial Stadium on Friday, August 13, according to an email sent out by Nebraska Athletics.
Students, faculty and staff will be seated on field level, which only has the capacity to hold 7,000, so students must get their free ticket through their student account before they’re all gone. All seating is general admission.
Staff and faculty will have to pay $10 per ticket with a $1 convenience fee per ticket.
All campus parking will be open and free and attendees will enter at Gate 3 or Gate 24 when they open at 6 p.m.
Beer will be available for purchase at the soundcheck, but concessions will be limited.
This information was confirmed by Nebraska Athletics.
