A large tree limb fell on the building, causing water damage and holes in the roof.
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Early morning storms and high winds caused branches and tree limbs to fall around the city. CenterPointe near south 13th street had some damage to its building.
“A limb came down, and initially we thought the tree missed the building, but it looks like it poked a hole in the roof,” president Topher Hansen said. “We have water inside one of the offices there.”
Hansen said they don’t know the total cost of the damage. There are holes in the roof, and some water damage to the ceiling.
CenterPointe has 15 locations across Nebraska. Hansen said the Omaha location experienced some damage from the storm as well.
“Mother nature is our best friend and can be our worst enemy sometimes,” Hansen said. “We’re already in process of dealing with it all and we’ll get it taken care of so people can be served.”
Hansen said the clinic will be open as usual on Monday. It won’t affect hours.
