
Authorities have arrested a man accused of fatally shooting a Lincoln man.

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Authorities have arrested a man accused of fatally shooting a Lincoln man.
LPD says 25-year-old Deontae Rush was arrested Wednesday for first-degree murder in connection to the death of 33-year-old James Shekie.
On Monday, March 1, 2021, at approximately 11:09 a.m., LPD officers responded to a call for service to check an open door in the 4200 block of North 20th St.
Officers found Shekie dead inside the home.
Law enforcement officers with the U.S. Marshals Service apprehended Rush without incident in Chicago.
