Soggy Wednesday with muggy conditions 7/14/2021

Scattered showers and thunderstorms are currently pushing into eastern Nebraska this morning with quite a bit of lightning. Make sure to grab the rain gear before you head out for your commute, because scattered rain will stick around into the afternoon. Current temperatures are mild in the 70s thanks to all of the cloud cover from preventing us from dropping. But highs today will eventually return to the low 90s with muggy conditions.

Rain tapers off a bit as we head into the afternoon, but another wave of thunderstorms returns around 7 PM. This second wave could be on the strong to severe side and these storms will continue into the overnight hours.

2021 Klkn Hrrr Latest Cref 3km Evening

We have a slight chance for isolated showers tomorrow and temperatures will drop down into the low 80s. We will end the week and head into the weekend with temperatures in the 80s and drier conditions.
