LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A moderate-level smoke advisory may be issued for southeast Nebraska due to prescribed burns in Kansas.
The burns are done to manage prairie and rangelands. The advisory will likely be issued around 2 pm today for Webster, Nuckolls, Thayer, Jefferson, and Gage counties.
During moderate smoke conditions, sensitive groups should limit outdoor work or exercise.
