LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Authorities say two people were injured after a single-vehicle rollover accident in Gage County.
Gage County deputies responded to the crash around 9 p.m. Saturday near SW 98th and W. Scott Rd.
GCSO says a sedan went off the road and into a ditch before going airborne, crashing through a barbed wire fence and into a cornfield where it flipped twice before coming to rest upside down.
Paramedics took the driver, identified as Wyatt Blythe, of Beatrice, to a Beatrice hospital with serious injuries.
On Saturday, July 17th, 2021 at approximately 8:49 pm, the Gage County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to SW 89th Road and West Scott Road for a single vehicle roll-over accident with injuries.
The other occupant, a juvenile, was treated at the scene for minor injuries.
Authorities say neither person was wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident.
Blythe was ticketed.
