Tommy Palmer of Lincoln Southwest and Natalya Woods of Lincoln Southeast grabbed headlines at the state swim meet prelims on Friday.
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Tommy Palmer of Lincoln Southwest will enters Saturday’s state finals as the top seed in the 50-yard and 200-yard freestyle events at the state swim meet after preliminary competition on Friday. The Silver Hawks also hope to contend for the team title as well.
Freshman Natalya Woods of Lincoln Southeast grabbed headlines as well after cruising to the No. 1 seed in both the 200-yard and 500-yard freestyles.
The state finals get underway on Saturday at 9:00 a.m. with the girls followed by the boys at 2:30 p.m.
