One killed, three injured from crash in Sarpy County 

SARPY COUNTY, Neb. (KLKN) – The Sarpy County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a vehicle crash that killed one and injured three others Friday night.

Deputies responded to a head-on collision crash around 7:45 p.m. between two vehicles on Harrison Street, just east of 162nd Avenue. According to SCSO, a sergeant came upon the crash seconds after it happened, and prior to any 911 calls.

Authorities said, the head-on collision occurred between a GMC Sierra pickup and a Kia Optima sedan. The driver of the pickup was identified as 32-year-old Brian Donica of Sarpy County. A younger male passenger was also in the pickup at the time of the crash. Both Donica and the younger male were transported by Omaha Fire & Rescue to Nebraska Medicine with minor injuries.

The driver of the Kia was identified as 55-year-old Michael Kelly of Bellevue. The Kia also had a front-seat passenger, identified
as Tiffany Bucci, age 42, of Omaha. Bucci was transported Bergan Mercy with critical injuries, where she remains. Kelly was transported by medical helicopter to Nebraska Medicine with critical injuries. Kelly later died from his injuries, according to authorities.

SCSO believes there may be witnesses to the crash that Investigators have not been able to identify. If you witnessed this crash, deputies want to hear from you. You can reach the Crash Response Unit at 402.593.1546.
