LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Authorities arrested four people and seized more than 230 pounds of marijuana and other drugs during two traffic stops.
The first stop happened Monday after noon on Interstate 80 near mile marker 231.

A search of the vehicle turned up 88 pounds of pot concealed inside luggage and various THC products, the patrol said.
The driver, John Valencia Lopez, 21, and passengers Jesse Jarquin, 23, and Evelin Morales Ramos, 21, all of Georgia, were each arrested on drug charges.

A search of that vehicle revealed 146 pounds of marijuana and a small amount of meth, according to NSP.
The driver, Brian Nixon, 51, of Kokomo, Indiana, was arrested on drug charges.
