Scattered showers and thunderstorms are still pushing through far southeast Nebraska this morning, meaning a wet commute for some. Most of the rain is focused to the east of Lincoln and Beatrice, so grab your rain gear if you live in this area. Temperatures are mild this morning in the 60s and 70s but dew point temperatures are near or at the 70s, thus it feels pretty humid out. This humidity will continue into the rest of the day as well as below average temperatures. Highs will only reach the upper 70s and low 80s today with mostly cloudy skies. An isolated chance for a few showers and thunderstorms will remain into the evening, but I expect most of the area to start drying out. We see clearing skies overnight and even cooler overnight temperatures. But highs warm back up near average the next few days even beyond the weekend.
