LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A woman is facing numerous charges after allegedly running from officers.
Lincoln Police says officers responded Thursday afternoon to a physical disturbance outside a building in the 400 block of N. 25th St.
When the officers arrived, a woman – identified by police as 41-year-old Shauna Devries – took off running.
A tenant told officers Devries was hiding in her residence and brought her outside, but Devries once again ran when she saw officers, police said.
The officers ultimately caught and arrested Devries.
Police say they found 15 syringes in her purse, white residue in a bag that tested positive for meth and an eight-inch knife.
