Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City is easing visitation policies, now allowing two visitors per patient.
Visiting hours at CRMC are 6 a.m.-9 p.m. daily.
The change was effective Thursday.
Visitation remains prohibited for COVID-19 patients in the Intensive Care Unit or the COVID-19 units.
Two visitors will also be allowed to accompany patients into clinics.
The emergency department will allow one visitor to accompany a patient.
Visitors will be screened upon entry and must wear a mask that they bring. The mask must be worn at all times.

St. Mary’s Hospital also made changes to its visitor policy recently.
Because of a lower number of hospitalizations and lower community prevalence of COVID-19, St. Mary’s Hospital is allowing patients one visitor at a time, rather than only one per day. The hospital is also allowing visitors to stay overnight.
