Husker baseball announces schedule changes, TV times

Due to forecasted high winds at Illinois Field this weekend, the start time of Nebraska’s games in Champaign, Ill., on Friday and Saturday against Illinois have been adjusted.

LINCOLN, Neb. (Husker Athletics) — The Nebraska baseball team has announced various schedule updates, including this weekend’s series at Illinois and future home games.

Due to forecasted high winds at Illinois Field this weekend, the start time of Nebraska’s games in Champaign, Ill., on Friday and Saturday against Illinois have been adjusted. The Huskers and Illini will now open their series at 6 PM (CT) on Friday and Saturday’s game has been moved to 5 PM. Sunday’s game will remain at Noon.

Now that fans are allowed at Hawks Field, the Huskers have moved the start time of their next three Friday homes games to 6:30 PM.

  • Friday, April 9 vs. Maryland – 6:30 PM
  • Friday, April 30 vs. Rutgers – 6:30 PM
  • Friday, May 14 vs. Northwestern – 6:30 PM

Monday, the Big Ten Conference announced its 2021 television schedule and all three games of the Michigan series at the end of May will be on BTN. All three games will start at Noon, starting on Friday, May 28.
