Class Intercom Announces New President, International Expansion
Class Intercom (www.classintercom.com), a leading provider in social media management for schools, has announced that Dr. Jill Johnson has signed on as president, as the company undergoes international expansion. Johnson is making a shift from high school administration to EdTech leadership to help schools globally advance their social media practices and encompass student-led social content creation.
Johnson’s appointment comes during Class Intercom’s recent partnership with International Education Solutions (IES) to extend its student driven social media tools to schools internationally. The expansion of Class Intercom services helps to solve a global educational issue, creating collaborative, valuable, and secure social media content.
Johnson brings more than 30 years of education experience to Class Intercom. Most recently, she successfully implemented a student social media content creation programs as assistant vice principal at Seward High School in Seward, Neb., utilizing Class Intercom. In addition, she recently completed her doctoral dissertation on the value of student-led social media.
