Bidens announce their ‘beloved’ German Shepherd Champ has died | St. Louis News Headlines – St. Louis, Missouri

St. Louis, Missouri 2021-06-19 11:53:00 –

Bidens announced on Saturday: Their “beloved” German Shepherd Champion Dead.

“Our heart is heavy today as we inform you that our beloved German Shepherd, Champ, has died peacefully at home.” President Joe Biden And First Lady Jill Biden said in a statement. “He has been our constant and dear companion for the past 13 years and has been loved by the entire Biden family.”

“Even if Champ’s power diminished in his last few months, when we entered the room, he immediately pulled himself up, his tail constantly shook, scratches on his ears and rubbing his belly. I snorted us for, and when he was next to us everything got better instantly, “they said in a statement.

Bydens continued. “He curled up at our feet in front of the fire at the end of the day and only liked joining us as a comforter at meetings and sunbathing in the White House gardens. He was happiest to chase a golf ball in the front yard of the Navy Observatory and race to catch his grandchildren as they ran around the backyard of Delaware. “

They said Champ was with his family during their “most enjoyable moments” and “the most sad days.”

“We love our sweet and good boy and will always miss him,” said the president and the first lady.

This is breaking news and will be updated.

Jason Hoffman of CNN contributed to this report.
