LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Authorities say at least 11 people were hospitalized after a deck collapsed during a pool party.
First responders responded to a home in Sutton around midnight Monday where callers reported a second-story deck had collapsed.
Officials say a DJ was playing music when a crowd of people went up onto the deck with him and it collapsed.
Approximately 200 people were at the party, but it’s unclear how many were on the deck at the time.
Numerous agencies responded, a “Mass Casualty Plan” was activated, according to officials.
It’s unclear the extent of any injuries.
