A total of around 8,000 people are calling the Lancaster Event Center home for the week.
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A city within a city is how you could describe the RV campground at the Lancaster Event Center.
The aerial video above shows the nearly 1200 RV’s and trailers that are there for the National High School Rodeo Finals.
Overall, around 1600 competitors from across the country are here in Lincoln for the finals.
“It’s been great, we have like a good community around here and surrounded by a lot of my friends from Arizona, and we’ve met a ton of people out here and we’ve had a good time so far,” said Kennedy Crosby of Scottsdale, AZ.
When you combine competitors and family members, a total of around 8,000 people are calling the event center their home for the week.
“You know you start having dinners with other campers, and it’s something, it’s a lot of people,” said Crosby.
The Rodeo continues through Saturday, July 24.
