The weather was lovely across all of Nebraska on this Wednesday! We started out mostly clear but gradually began to take on some more cloud cover as the atmosphere heated up. None of these clouds were successful in growing into full-fledged showers, so we were able to make it into the low 80s for highs across Southeast Nebraska.
These clouds will progressively dissipate overnight, becoming mostly clear with lows dropping into the mid-50s.
The dry trend is set to continue through the weekend. As this happens, temperatures will warm up! There may be some high clouds passing by for the day on Thursday, but rain chances are next to nothing. We will still get plenty of sunshine and that will push highs up to around 87 for Lincoln.
We are into the 90s on Friday and Saturday, and this will not be a dry heat. The humidity will be creeping on us on Friday and will be back in full force by Saturday. We remain warm and muggy into next week as well. Although highs may slightly back off early next week, rain chances start to increase on Monday.
